3. What trip is complete without buying local products? Czech glass is a known product which is often caught in Prague. The local elements to look out for include Bohemian crystal, of porcelain, ceramic, Czech garnet, jewelry, accessories handcrafted handmade tapestries and replicas of artwork, photography, toys and puppets.

4. Take children to visit the Petrin Hill and Observation Tower, a miniature Eiffel Tower. The region also has an area games and a maze of mirrors, which offers hours of fun and laughter.

5. Visit museums. The National Museum of History has collections historical and natural, while the National Technical Museum provides a more practical approach. Children will be very busy with the Toy Museum, which is home to antique toys, teddy bears, a variety of Barbie dolls, robots, and steam engines.

6. Take a journey to Prague Zoo. This is probably one of the best zoos across Europe. The animals have plenty of room to roam and visitor trails are recommended.

7. Soak up the nightlife. Prague has options for cocktail bars and nightclubs Swank rocking. There are also a number of blues and jazz bars available with some great performances in small venues frequented.

8. Try beer. The Czech beer is very popular around the world and is gaining popularity judging by the volume that is exported. Fresh unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell and Budvar Budjevicky two beers you should put on your list.

9. Enjoy the local cuisine. The Czech cuisine is designed to be paired with local beer. Pork or beef offerings are the most common, but other options including chicken, duck, turkey, fish, rabbit and lamb are also available.

10. Get romantic. Take a meal cruise on the Vltava river and soak up the sights of the city at night or enjoy a horse, carriage in the old town and Jewish quarter.
