The Madame Alexander Doll Company made dolls baby throughout the years. These dolls are often bought by mothers for their children to play with while collecting the most elaborate expensive dolls for display. The line of Baby Dolls were mainly play dolls and did not increased in value as other Madame Alexander dolls made in the same year. Of course there are exceptions, one of which was "small Engineering and Littlest Kitten. "Nevertheless, Ms. Alexander could not create any kind of doll that was not the only one of everything.
Some fine play created by the Baby Dolls Madame Alexander Doll Company in 1950 and 1960 included:
o Kathleen toddlers, 23 " produced in 1959 with rigid vinyl. The original suit was a sweet pea pink and white point to white-collar, white trim around the short sleeves with a sidelong glance his eyes, just precious little baby doll. Mint in box value today: $ 125.00 to $ 300.00
Binnie o, # 1820, 18 "produced in 1964, cute little blonde with blue eyes, big cheeks, wearing a blue dress with white trim around collar, sleeves and hem of the robe and appliques in red around the bottom of the skirt and collar, just cute little baby doll. The line of Brenda Starr, Madame Alexander Dolls was a journalist in a beautiful comic. It has been produced only in 1964 by Madame Alexander Doll Company.
Brenda Starr was 12 inches tall, rooted hair red, blue sleep eyes and ears breakthroughs. Her vinyl arms and head, jointed legs at the knees, feet, high heels, and a rigid plastic body. Window Boxes have also been created. These boxes included Brenda Starr dressed, hairpieces, hair curlers, comb, etc. There were costumes created boxed and sold separately. The cupboard available for Brenda Starr was dresses, evening dresses, beachwear, sets of rain jackets, and lingerie. Ms. Alexander has also created Basic dolls wears a shirt for sale.
Brenda Starr doll Yolanda became, in 1965. Yolanda has blonde hair and green eyes. It is shown in the catalog of 1965 wears a turquoise satin formal with sequin trim, as a young bride in a ruffled lace grew up, and also in a baggy pink Pleated tulle dress.
