Palitoy was the name of a British company that manufactures toys some of the most popular toys in Britain, parts of which were all original and others were licensed. The company, near Leicester, England, was born of firm plastic created by Alfred Edward Pallett in 1909 and became a leading manufacturer of toys Britain. Some of their most popular toys include:

Colombia Xylonite Cascelloid bought the company in 1931 and created the brand "Palitory" in 1935 for their toy division. Alfred Edward Pallet founded the Society Cascelloid in 1909 to produce goods and celluloid fantasy. They produced their first doll in 1925.

Injection molding has been developed Xylonite by British in 1941 and was used for the Palitoy toy lines.

Palitory was sold to General Mills in 1968 and became the company Palitory in 1980 when Palitory, Denys Fisher and Chad Valley broke away from General Mills. The office closed in 1984. Hasbro bought the factory molds Toy and copyrights of which they had been a major licensee.

Action Man

Action Man is a doll marketed as "man portable combat, and as GI Joe for Hasbro in the U.S. (copy of which has been authorized) no mention was made the figure is a doll. It was inappropriate for boys to play with dolls in the 1960s.

Action Man was originally produced and sold in the United Kingdom and Australia by Palitoy Ltd of Coalville, Leicestershire, from 1966 until 1984. Action Man and accessories were originally based on the Hasbro (U.S.) 1964 GI Joe. The first Action Man figures were "Action Soldier", "Action Sailor" and "pilot". They were All available in four colors of original blonde hair, red, brown and black. Their costumes depicted the participants of the Second World War. Action Man was then reintroduced in 1993, based on the GI Joe Hall of Fame is the time.

The figure featured changeable clothes with different uniforms as a result of different purposes that eventually created the worldwide popularity of this type of toy.

Chad Valley Toys has been developed a long-standing brand toys in the United Kingdom and has been a leading toy manufacturers in the United Kingdom for most of the 20th century. He closed several factories in the 1970s and was taken over by Palitoy in 1978.

Chad Valley Toys has provided pleasure to eight generations of children, of the present queen of England, children across the United State, Europe, Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand. Sooner Chad Valley toys are some of the most sought after toys on the world-wide web. Their descriptions often say "well used, but in surprisingly good condition for its age." This is because it is a common feature used throughout the history of the company which was to build quality that is unparalleled.

Chad Valley produced many different dolls. Among the most spectacular Dolls before the war was Snow White, which is entry in box with the Seven Dwarfs (1937). Each face of Snow White has been hand painted.
