What is the history of the Infant Jesus Infant of Prague doll?

Infant Jesus of Prague (Czech Pražské Jezulátko) is a famous statue of the Infant Jesus in the Church of Our Lady Victorious in Malá Strana, Prague. His story began early 17th century when a statue of the Infant Jesus was brought into Bohemia by a Spanish princess. This princess had been given the statue as a wedding gift by his mother, Maria Manriquez de Lara of Spain, and the statue was finally granted to the Discalced Carmelites in Prague. The statue was put up in the oratory of the monastery, and twice a day, special devotions to Jesus were performed before it. Disturbances in Bohemia because of the Thirty Years War ended and the special devotion, November 15, 1631, the army of King Gustavus Adolphus Sweden took possession of the churches in the capital of Bohemia. The Carmelite monastery was plundered by the Swedish Lutheran Protestant, and the image of the Infant Jesus of Prague was thrown into a pile of rubbish behind the altar. Here, he was relegated to oblivion, his hands broken off for seven years until it was solved in 1637 by Father Cyril and placed in the church of the Oratory. One day, while praying before the statue, Father Cyrillus heard a voice saying: "Have – pity me, and I will have mercy on you. Give me my hands, and I'll give you the peace. The more you do me honor, the more I will bless you. "Since then, the statue has remained in Prague and has drawn many devotees worldwide to go and meet the divine Child. Claims of blessings, favors and miraculous healings have been made by many of those who petition the child Jesus. Statues of the Infant Jesus are placed inside many Catholic churches, sometimes with the quote: "The more you do me honor, more I will bless you. "The Infant Jesus of Prague as it appears during Lent at Our Lady of Victory Church. The exact origin of the statue of the Child Jesus was not really known, but historical sources point to a small sculpture of 28cm the Baby Jesus with a bird in his right hand carved in around the year 1340 God bless you …
